  internet has been a positive and negative as far as finding ‘weird’ things for material

  on one hand it’s so much harder because we all have so much more trivial fleeting knowledge that pointing out some new piece of esoterica often instead of making us think, makes us reminisce 

  on the other, there’s so many more voices, if you’re willing to patiently sift. it’s easy to find content, but just cause a video has a good name, doesn’t mean that it will work as audio samples. so now we listen, and listen, and listen, to strange people talking about their lives and various fears, trying to find one that somehow resonates with what we’re doing.
